A Week's Worth of Sighs - Glass, Oak, Cork, Brass, Paper from 1951, Type from a 1940s-era Smith Corona Typewriter

The brass name plate is hand-made by Edward Koizumi. Text was typed on the typewriter of my maternal grandfather, Walter H. Smith (1906-1993) using paper torn from pamphlet-size softback children's book, The Snow Goose, copyright 1951. The vials are filled with actual sighs captured during a week in December 2007. Key holes in the back of the oak base so that it could be wall mounted in the home of the people who commissioned the work.

Companion book to be delivered to the owners in early 2008.
